Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the entrant (“you”, “your(s)”, "entrant(s)"), the Promoter and the Administrator (both defined below) in relation to the Promotion and shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1. The Promoter: Unilever UK Limited, Lever House, 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 2BA. The Promoter is responsible for administering the scan-to-win element of the Promotion and for conducting the prize draw.

2. The Retailer: ASDA Ltd. Asda House, South Bank, Great Wilson Street, Leeds, LS11 5AD. The Retailer is responsible for placing the promotion material in stores.

3. The Supplier: Unilever UK Limited, Lever House, 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 2BA

4. The Promoter, the Retailer and the Supplier, together referred to as the "Promotion Entities".

5. Eligibility:

a. This Promotion is open to UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 years or over who: (a) have a mobile phone with scan capabilities and (b) internet access (to receive any digital Prizes).

b. The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees and their immediate families of the Promotion Entities, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion, including without limitation, advertising agencies, PR, prize suppliers and legal advisors. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse members of such employees or of anyone with whom such employees are domiciled.

6. Promotional Period: This Promotion opens at 00:01 BST on 13.06.2024 and closes at 23:59 BST on 10.07.2024. Entries received outside the Promotional Period shall not be valid for entry into this Promotion.

7. Entry Instructions:

a. Entrants will need to purchase at least one of the qualifying products and keep a digital copy of the receipt for validation if they are to win the competition.

a. Entry is via the Sure website (https://www.suredeodorant.co.uk/win-uefa-euro-2024-tech-bundle/asda/). Entrants can scan the QR code on display packaging (“Promotional material”) using a mobile device or visit the Sure website and complete the sign-up form. Entrant must fill in their first name, last name and email address.

b. Entrants will need to enter the barcode number of the qualifying product purchased into the form for the entry to be valid. Answering the additional questions is optional. Entrants must agree to the Terms and Conditions whereby they consent to their data being shared with the Promoter and a 3rd party agency for prize fulfillment purposes only.

8. Only one entry per person during the Promotional Period. Any use by entrants of identities other than their own and/or any entrant using the same email to enter this Promotion will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void. An email can only be used by one person and it cannot be shared within a household. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether an entrant or household has already submitted an entry and to disqualify any subsequent entries or prize entitlement.

9. No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties, consumer groups or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data; using multiple email addresses; using multiple postal addresses; acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter; using identities other than their own; creating fake identities or using any other automated or manual means in order to increase that entrant's or a household’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants and their household will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

10. Illegible, incorrect and/or incomplete Entries will not be accepted or eligible to win a prize. No responsibility can be accepted for Entries that are illegible, incorrect, incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason. Proof of sending will not constitute or be accepted as proof of entry.

11. We also reserve the right in our sole and reasonable discretion to disqualify any entrant who: (a) we have reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions; and/or (b) corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; and/or (c) engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. We also reserve our legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.

12. Prizes: There are 50 prizes to be won across this period, each consisting of a tech bundle (“Prize”). There will be 50 winners. Each Prize consists of:

a. HiSense 40” FHD Smart TV;

b. HiSense HS2100 Soundbar; and

c. a hamper containing a selection of Unilever Personal Care products up to the value of £30.00 (thirty pounds) selected by and at the discretion of the Promoter.

13. Only one Prize per household. The Prize must be accepted as offered and redeemed by the named winner only. There is no alternative Prize, in whole or part (save where the Promoter in its sole discretion deems it reasonably necessary to provide an alternative prize). The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Sale of the Prize for profit is prohibited and may constitute fraud. The Prize cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances outside our control make this necessary.

15. The Supplier is responsible for sourcing and supplying the prize for the Promotion.

16. We reserve the right to verify each winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw Prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

17. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the Prize suppliers.

18. The winners will be solely responsible for paying any taxes in connection with the prizes and all other expenses not specifically detailed above.

19. Winner Selection: All valid entries received on or before the closing date will be randomly assigned a number and will be entered into a random number generator draw. The first 50 entries drawn at random will win a Prize as outlined in clause 12. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promotor is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promotor reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.

20. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email from hello@ euro2024winwithsure.co.uk within 7 days of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the email confirming their first name, last name, email address and all necessary information for fulfillment purposes within 7 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promotor reserves the right to offer the unclaimed Prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.

21. The winners’ details (surname and county) may be made available on request to those by emailing sure.winner@unilever.com within ten weeks after the closing date. Winners may notify the Promoter if they do not wish for this information to be published.

22. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. In addition, by entering the competition, the entrants consent to the Promotor sharing the winners details with third party agency, Umbrella, for the purpose of facilitating this Promotion. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Controller’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/united-kingdom-english.htmlOpens in a new window. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

23. These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of stature or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the courts of England and Wales. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

24. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of this Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

25. Entry into this Promotion is voluntary and at the entrant's sole decision and risk.

26. Subject to Clause 27 below, the Promotion Entities will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to the winner(s) or any third party, or accept any liability for:

a. any disappointment, loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entry to this Promotion; and/or

b. any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of acceptance and/or use of the Prize.

27. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the Promotion Entities' liability for:

a. death or personal injury caused by negligence; and/or

b. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and/or

c. any liability which may not be legally limited under applicable law.

28. The Promotion Entities accept no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notification(s) or prize(s). The Promotion Entities will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of Entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promotion Entities.

29. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavors to avoid consumer disappointment and in the event of an early cancellation or termination of this Promotion, the Promoter will select winner(s) from all valid and eligible Entries received prior to any such early cancellation or termination. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Promoter.
