RIGHT TO MOVE

We believe everyone has the right to move – no matter who you are, where you grow up, or however you want to move

Because movement has the power to break barriers; enabling young people to develop vital skills – such as teamwork and resilience – that will strengthen them throughout their lives. Movement builds confidence and teaches them how to overcome failures and adversities. It also has the power to unite communities and change lives.

‘The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practising sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play’

International Olympic Committee (IOC) (BBC)
